Smash Basil Fizz with Gin Tabar Bergamot cocktail

Smash Basil Fizz with Gin Tabar Bergamotto is a cocktail of flavors well orchestrated by Manuel Circelli, Bar Manager of Cala Romeo in Cesenatico. Splendid on an aromatic level, fresh and fragrant, it is made with lemon juice, sugar, freshly picked basil, to which a dose of gin is added. Gin Tabar Bergamotto Caso ni , with a soft and citrus taste, accentuates the freshness of the cocktail offering a rewarding tasting in every season.

Ingredients:

5 cl of Gin Tabar Bergamotto Casoni

1.5 cl lemon juice

1.5 cl liquid sugar

6 basil leaves

Finish with bergamot soda

Garnish: fried basil leaf

Procedure :

Break the basil leaves in half and pour them into the mixing glass, add the lemon juice, the Tabar Bergamot Gin and muddle. Now, also add the liquid sugar and finish with the bergamot soda. Fill with ice and shake vigorously.

Filter through a strainer into the highball and garnish with fried basil leaf.

Technique : shake and double strain

Serving glass : highball
