Mastrilli Farm
The biodynamic “vineyard-garden” on the outskirts of Florence Adriano Zago opens the doors of his Podere Mastrilli, where vineyards, olive trees, vegetable gardens, orchards, woods and animals coexist in perfect balance. An organic agriculture project that mixes tradition and future vision, thanks also to the experience of Elisabetta Foradori and Enrico Rivetto who participated in a workshop between professionals in the sector.
Biodiversity in Bordeaux
Uprooted vineyards become bee reserves In collaboration with Terra Vitis Bordeaux and Adana, abandoned vineyard plots have been sown with buckwheat, alfalfa, clover and sunflower to ensure continuous flowering. Local beekeepers are encouraged to move their hives to these plots to counteract the decline of bees.
VI Shire Challenge (27–28 June)
Peasant wines and revolutionary spirit in San Giovanni delle Contee The biennial event reaches its sixth edition: tastings of artisanal products from the village and its surroundings, with the aim of promoting wines born for conviviality. The appointment is on the last weekend of June for a unique experience in the heart of Tuscany-Lazio.
Collio Bianco “native”
Luca Raccaro puts an end to the controversy The new president of the Collio Consortium (and the youngest in the history of the organization) announces continuity with the past and introduces the mention “Uve autochthonous” for the Collio Bianco, accepting the request of a dozen dissident producers and reassuring about the future of the DOC.
Medici Villa of Vinci
Rediscovery of a great Tuscan white Dianella, a historic company in a Medici villa, relaunches an almost forgotten white wine through organic farming practices. On the slopes of Montalbano, the winery led by Francesco and Veronica Passerin d'Entrèves combines a Renaissance past and sustainable innovation.
Vinchio Sifter
Guardians of Barbera A dive into the heart of Piedmont with Barbera, a popular wine and today a major player on international tables. The “Barbera Mon Amour” project celebrates the peasant tradition and the qualitative evolution of this symbolic vine.

Exports Q1 2025
-2.7% in volume, 0.9% in value Istat and Tre Bicchieri data: in the first quarter, Italian wine exports fell from 506 to 492 million liters, while turnover rose to €1.85 billion. The -3.5% in volume in the United States is worrying, where developments on duties with Brussels are expected.
“Envisioning2035” manifesto
Strategic Plan for Italian Wine The document that outlines concrete actions for the climate, emerging markets and consumer health was presented in Milan. Promoted by FreedL Group and Ettore Nicoletto, the summit aims to redefine the value chain until 2035.
Sweden: direct sales
Wine and alcohol can be purchased from producers From 1 June, the reform allows Swedish producers to sell directly to the public, outside of Systembolaget. The law aims to support tourism and small winemakers, while still maintaining regulated access.
Third countries promotion 2025/2026
EU Funds for Multi-Regional Campaigns €2,502,744.41 available for the promotion of Italian wine beyond the borders. Of these, €300,000 reserved for multi-regional projects (Lombardy lead for €200,000), according to EU Regulation 1308/2013.
Wine Jewels
The Art of Vincells (Hungary) Ágnes Csikósné Homolya fuses viticulture and goldsmithing: gems obtained from wine are inserted into rings and pendants. A patented process that solidifies the liquid into a crystalline material, making each piece a tangible memory of the tasting.
Abbey Wines 2025
Fossanova wins 4,000 visitors (6–8 June) The fourth edition brought over 30 monastic wineries from Italy, France and Georgia to the abbey's evocative cloister. Masterclasses, conferences and the Food&Wine Village celebrated the monasteries' age-old winemaking tradition.
Jockeys in Spain
Acquired the former Venta La Vega boutique winery The Abruzzo group aims to increase Iberian production tenfold within ten years, based on the “federation” model of local winemakers and young winemakers. Already present since 2021 in Castile with Finca Fella.
Twenty Twenty Cellar
Classic Method in the Modena lowlands In Medolla, the Razzaboni family is starting over with 30 hectares of vineyards on alluvial soils, a symbol of post-2012 earthquake rebirth. In the name of sustainability and a strong bond with the territory.
Bee Pork & Lazzari Cellar
Cutting boards, wine and DJ set (June 15) Sunday, June 15, Società Agricola Marchesini (Bedizzole): three Lazzari labels paired with Apepork cutting boards, accompanied by the musical selection of Radio Bruno. Rustic atmosphere and conviviality guaranteed.
Annunziata Park (Orsogna)
Management entrusted to Bio Cantina Sociale Orsogna (June 13, 3:30 pm) The agreement between the Municipality and Cantina Sociale aims to protect local biodiversity and develop research projects. With approximately 300 members and 1,500 hectares of vineyards, the Cantina is a leader in organic and biodynamic viticulture.
Cellar in Celebration
Varignana (BO): June 18 & July 9 Two evenings of music, tastings and open-air landscapes at Palazzo di Varignana: a meeting of wine, nature and local cuisine under the starry sky.
Wineries of Verona
Innovation Award 2025 (May 22) The event of the Order of Engineers of Verona saw the participation of 120 students, with guided tasting and focus on the SQNPI certification for integrated quality production.
Our Land (Cossano Belbo)
63rd birthday on June 14th Saturday, June 14th, 12:00 pm: party in the cellar with a speech by the authorities on the theme “A future with many uncertainties” and a social lunch. The cooperative has 200 members and 450 ha of Moscato d'Asti.
CRITONE Summer Edition
