Cantine d'Italia 2024, the wine tourist guide edited by Go Wine, will be released at the beginning of December.

The presentation and awards event will be held next Thursday 30 November in Milan at the Hotel Melià .

An event dedicated to the 852 Italian wineries reported in the Guide.

During the evening , 9 Special Awards will be awarded; 262 wineries will receive the recognition of " L'Impronta Go Wine ", awarded to those who have obtained the highest overall score in the evaluations of the Site, Hospitality and Wines.

A guide that enhances the great Italian hospitality in the cellar and represents a reference for the many wine enthusiasts and curious people who not only love tasting good wines, but are interested in walking parts of Italy to learn where the wines are born and where many men and women make their dreams and plans.

The Guide favors the theme of the story to lead the reader to better understand what lies behind a glass of wine: stories of men and women, stories of Italian families in love with their land, far-sighted investments by men who have decided to dedicate part of their lives in favor of an idea of wine.

Some previews: Cantine d'Italia 2024 will be presented with a renewed flexible cover, growing numbers, 600 pages, 852 wineries told in total; telling about places and wines from all Italian regions.

All the wineries have been selected and deserve the review; the specific recognition on which the Guide is characterized is "The Footprint": because it symbolically indicates a "sign", it is connected to a symbol of the Go Wine logo, it indicates the wine that invites you to travel and that makes people walk.

There are 262 footprints of excellence for wine tourism assigned by the Guide, over 4,600 wines reported, around 1,600 useful addresses for eating and sleeping.

The volume, which favors the theme of narration, will open with nine interviews with men and women of wine , representatives of wineries selected in the Guide.

The Guide is distributed in Italian bookstores at the cover price of €18.00.

Speakers at the presentation conference were journalists Richard Baudains (Decanter) , Alessandro Regoli (creator and editor of Winenews.it) and Alessandra Dal Monte (Corriere della Sera-Cook); they sign the three introductory speeches to the Guide and will converse with Massimo Corrado , president of the Go Wine Association, editor of the volume; the journalist Antonio Paolini (Gambero Rosso) will moderate the proceedings. The presentation of the awards and special prizes will follow

Followed, from 6.30 pm , by the extraordinary tasting of the top wines from the wineries awarded with the L'Impronta recognition.

6.30pm-10.00pm : opening of the tasting counter to the public of wine enthusiasts and guests of the event.

Cost of tasting at the tasting stands for the public: €25.00.
