In the harvest season, the wine artisan Graziano Merotto collects the fruits of the work of 50 years dedicated to Prosecco Superiore, with a palmarès of ten awards in Italy and abroad.
A result obtained thanks to sometimes revolutionary choices. Merotto, in fact, has introduced a new way of making Prosecco Superiore thanks to the Cuvée del Fondatore , obtained with a double ripening of the Glera grape in the vineyard, which makes it almost withered, and a 6-month refermentation in autoclave.
A wine that marked a new path and that led the company to take, among the first, the recognition of the Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso and among the few to be awarded for ten consecutive years by the Vini d'Italia guide. << For fifty years I have dedicated my life to work in the vineyard and to the production of this wine. - Says Graziano Merotto. - The earth is a living entity and its fruits are gifts that man must deserve with a daily tribute of effort, attention and respect. " It is the "religion of the earth" in which Graziano believed from the beginning and which finds its maximum expression in wines from a single vineyard such as Castè and Cuvée del Fondatore. However, other productions have also been awarded, such as the historic label la Primavera di Barbara, and the last born Integral and Grani di Nero.
