Two weekends are coming in September to fully experience Franciacorta: on the weekends of 11-12 and 18-19 September the twelfth edition of the Franciacorta in Cantina Festival will be held, dedicated to fans of bubbles and families. Many events organized by the Consortium cellars, but also outdoor activities, cultural visits and gastronomic experiences.
In La Montina , a historic company from Monticelli Brusati, the calendar is full of events .
SATURDAY 11th and 18th SEPTEMBER
10:00 - Guided tour of the cellar and tasting.
During the tour the complex method by which Franciacortas are produced will be illustrated. At the end, guests will be able to taste some types of Franciacorta, combined with tastings of local products.
From 14:00 to 17:30 - Free tasting.
Guests can book their own tasting table, choosing to taste the Franciacortas they prefer.
SUNDAY 12th and 19th SEPTEMBER
From 17:00 - Guided tour of the cellar and tasting with food truck in the vineyard.
After the visit to the winery, guests can spend a suggestive evening among the rows of the "Vigneto Baiana". Waiting for them will be: Sunday 12, the masters of street food by Brusco Bono , specialized in the creation of bruschetta and delicious burgers cooked and stuffed strictly on the spot. On Sunday 19th, however, the pizza masters of Pizza in giro , with their pizzas cooked and stuffed on sight. There will also be the Mixology space manned by the bar tenders of the Prince Cafè, where the most curious can taste the summer cocktail inspired by the Rosé Demi Sec de La Montina "Juicy Montina".
All the events - which will be held even in case of bad weather - are suitable for a heterogeneous audience, from wine lovers, to lovers of good food, to sportsmen, to families. To participate you must book and have a Green Pass.
The La Montina di Monticelli Brusati estates are among the historic companies of Franciacorta. The company vineyards develop on a vineyard area of about 72 hectares, located in 7 municipalities of Franciacorta. Vineyards, with a predominantly hilly position, planted on calcareous and silt-clayey soils with a yield of about 100 quintals per hectare with a density of 5,400 / 7,000 plants per hectare. The cellar extends over 7,450 m² underground, which guarantees the lowest possible temperature range all year round (around 13 ° - 16 °) and the optimal condition for the right maturation of the Franciacortas. The average production is 380,000 bottles per year.
