Christmas at Gellius the Tortellini by Alessandro Breda that warm the heart

The famous holiday dish is offered by the Oderzo restaurant in a fish-based version. Three menus are available for Christmas and New Year, all in delivery format

A different Christmas, but always under the sign of tradition. The Gellius restaurant in Oderzo (Treviso) is preparing for the Christmas period by offering a personal version of the main dish of the holidays , declined in Tortellini with shellfish in fish broth . The course, foreseen in the Gellius Christmas menu, will also be available in delivery format: the restaurant has in fact created three tasting itineraries , two for Christmas and one for New Year, to give all customers the opportunity to taste Alessandro's creations Breda also in the intimacy of its own kitchen. "Since I was a child, tortellini in broth have always been the first course of every festive lunch - explains chef Alessandro Breda - it is a dish that reminds me of the warmth of family, the sense of sharing and familiarity of Christmas day. . After such a difficult year, presenting a traditional dish revisited with our own eyes seemed to us the best way to convey that serenity and pleasure to our customers. The delivery version menu gives us the opportunity to bring our kitchen directly into their homes, waiting to be able to welcome them back to the restaurant soon ". The shellfish tortellini in fish broth will be delivered, like the other courses on the menu, with instructions for completing the preparation at home and the ingredients to garnish the dish . To meet the needs of all diners, Gellius has also chosen to include a vegetarian path alongside the more traditional proposals. The two Christmas menus, which include appetizer, first course, second course and dessert of your choice, are available to order until December 22nd . A more traditional proposal is instead that of the New Year 's menu, which includes four courses based on fish and some off-menu dishes with the symbolic recipes of the New Year 's Eve such as cotechino with lentils, shellfish and exotic fruit. Orders in this case are accepted until December 28th . Deliveries are available within the municipality of Oderzo , throughout the Treviso area and also outside the province , with delivery costs varying depending on the distance.
