Cantina Zorzettig Sustainable Christmas with the 2020 limited edition

A special package that contains in an elegant wooden box three natural products that enhance the circular economy system, promoting a sustainable wine supply chain and the reuse of by-products: the limited edition of Zorzettig designed for Christmas 2020 is a tribute to nature , a hymn to the land and what it gives us. The Christmas package contains a bottle of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso vintage 2015, an elegant, complex wine , which expresses the scents of red fruits and caresses the palate thanks to the delicate notes given by the aging in wooden barrels. Along with wine, two baked products , one sweet and one savory, whose preparation base is grape seed flour , rich in proteins and antioxidants, obtained using the by-products of the winemaking process. "Never as in this Christmas, in such a particular year - explains Annalisa Zorzettig , owner of the Spessa di Cividale del Friuli winery - we feel the need to return to the simplicity and essentiality of small things , even in what we choose to bring at the table. In the same way, respect for the cycle of nature, the history of our culinary tradition and healthy nutrition are fundamental, thanks also to a wine production chain capable of producing as little waste as possible and reusing the by-products in the best possible way ". The idea of this special package was born in the Zorzettig house in collaboration with the start-up GS Natural in order to promote a sustainable wine supply chain. The selling price is 29.50 euros.
