Spring-summer 2021: our tastings in contact with nature.

The last year has certainly not been the most favorable for tourism, but with the progress of the summer, new scenarios are slowly opening up, like flowers in spring. After a long period of domestic torpor, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are preparing to experience a phase of greater freedom, during which those trends that have already begun to take shape in the past months will take shape. Surely there is the desire to be outdoors, first of all for a matter of safety, secondly because, due to the long periods of restrictions, many people have developed a sort of aversion to everything that is closed, for the four walls, for the short horizons, and feel the need for large and airy spaces. Another trend that has emerged in recent months is that of the local : the prolonged impossibility of traveling or leaving regional borders has led people to turn their gaze to the surrounding reality, to what is within reach, which before it was often unfairly taken for granted. Thus, the charm of the exotic and the desire to "go far" is now accompanied by the taste of knowing the riches of one's land, certainly also the food and wine. There is a desire for slower rhythms, to explore the surroundings, to taste the local cuisine, to go where the production takes place to understand the genesis of the products, to touch and learn something new. Even among young people, we do not say the very young, but certainly up to and including the millennials, it is as if there had been a sort of awareness of what is in effect a culture, that of food and wine.

The wine tourism offer of Cantina Rocca Sveva, which is part of the Cantina di Soave group, has always been rich and varied. The starting point, and what all the proposals have in common, is to taste the wine where it is born, in the vineyard and in the cellar. Then, depending on the experience chosen, the tasting is enriched with further aspects: from the landscape, to the food and wine pairing, to the deep contact with nature, to the skilful guidance of the sommelier. The goal is only one: to enhance the productions, making the tasting unforgettable.

As for the outdoors, the experiences agreed and organized by reservation, such as the horseback tour to discover the hills where the vineyards of the winery's members are located and the tastings immersed in the greenery of the Rocca Sveva botanical garden, are flanked by regular events, always by reservation: the wine brunch, the picnic among the rows, the aperitif at sunset and the dinner in the vineyard.
