From Valpolicella to Collio, passing through Montalcino, Vulture, and Salento, Tommasi Family Estates kicks off the summer wine tourism season with a calendar of experiences designed to showcase the region through wine, hospitality, and a genuine connection to its surroundings. This journey unites the group's diverse spirits in a comprehensive offering, enhancing local identities, landscapes, and cultures through shared experiences that increasingly embody experiential and contemporary tourism.
The initiatives will kick off on the weekend of May 30th and 31st with Cantine Aperte , an event symbolic of Italian wine tourism hospitality, which will involve the Casisano and Paternoster estates.
At Casisano , in the heart of Montalcino , guests can enjoy two different tours immersed in the estate's hilly landscape: a free experience with a tour of the cellar and a complimentary glass of Rosso di Montalcino, or a picnic among the vineyards and olive groves with typical local products and a bottle of Rosso di Montalcino. This is a chance to discover the elegance and altitude that characterize Casisano wines, grown at 480 meters above sea level on one of the most suitable slopes of the appellation.
Paternoster , a historic winery in Vulture , will also exceptionally open its doors on the mornings of May 30th and 31st. On Saturday, May 30th, the day will continue with "Cantine Aperte After Sunset," an evening aperitif featuring wine, music, and food inside the winery, allowing you to experience the charm of Vulture's volcanic wines in an informal and convivial atmosphere.
Tommasi Family Estates' wine tourism summer will then continue in Salento , where Masseria Surani will officially inaugurate the Tenuta Eméra season starting June 1st . The weekend of May 30th and 31st will be dedicated to the "Hello Summer" event, designed to welcome guests with a complimentary glass of wine and a free tour of the cellar, kicking off a season that combines wine, hospitality, and the Mediterranean spirit.
Throughout the summer, from Tuesday to Sunday, Tenuta Eméra will also offer the "Sunset Aperitif," an experience designed to complement Salento evenings with local wines and traditional specialties, in a setting that celebrates the slow and convivial dimension of Apulian hospitality.
Alongside the seasonal events, the winery will also present three different tasting experiences. "Eméra Vibes" will offer a simple and dynamic experience, complete with a guided tour and a glass of wine; "Eméra Racconta" will guide guests through three iconic labels from the winery and the Salento region; while "Calici di Salento" will expand the story to include the volcanic wines of Paternoster and Cantina Moros , the group's boutique winery, creating a wine journey through the diverse territories and identities of Southern Italy.
In Valpolicella , the summer season will be marked by the return of “Sparkling Sunday,” Tommasi’s signature Sunday event, which, from June to September , will combine a visit to the cellar and a pre-lunch tasting in an experience dedicated to conviviality and discovery of the local area.
The calendar will culminate on June 26th in Collio with the new edition of "Russiz Superiore Night," hosted among the vineyards of Marco Felluga & Russiz Superiore . An evening of food and wine tours, music, and outdoor tastings, transforming the estate into a place for meeting and sharing, immersed in the hilly landscape of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Through these initiatives, Tommasi Family Estates continues to develop a vision of wine tourism that places the authentic local experience at its core, building an increasingly direct dialogue between wine, hospitality, and local culture. A shared narrative spanning Italy from north to south, its distinctive feature being the diversity of its estates.
