To the question “ But how is Chianti Classico made? ”Will answer the production manager Alberto Stella and the agronomist Giacomo Sensi , who will talk about the different production phases - from the harvest, to the fermentation, to the racking, up to the rest in the barrel and bottling.
The General Manager Michele Contartese and the sales manager Elena Caini will guide the spectators to discover the company, the only one in the Chianti Classico area to own a perfectly preserved 13th century castle, today a splendid accommodation facility. With an extension of more than a thousand hectares, on a hill in Gaiole in Chianti from where it surveys the surrounding woods and vineyards, Castello di Meleto is a perfect example of a complete farm: wine, first of all with Chianti Classico, represents the flagship product, which is flanked by organic extra virgin olive oil, honey, and the breeding of Cinta Senese pigs.
The format consists of 25 episodes lasting approximately 25 minutes each. Each episode tells the story of companies that have focused on Made in Italy , showing how products are made, and reconstructing the entrepreneurial history through the words of the protagonists. An immersion in the family and work dynamics that surround the history of the most iconic products and entrepreneurs and of the great ideas that have led them to success.
