“The Villa, the Wine and Venice: a journey to discover the territories of the Serenissima”

For this reason the Venice Wine Consortium together with the Venetian Villas Association has decided to create the event "The Villa, the Wine and Venice: a journey to discover the territories of the Serenissima" . An event that will be repeated for three Sundays in November in three different Venetian Villas where participants will have the opportunity to discover the common thread that has always linked wine to the Villa. The appointments will take place on Sunday 5 November at Villa Tiepolo Passi in Carbonera (TV), on Sunday 12 November at Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari in Mira (VE) and on Sunday 19 November at Villa Reichsteiner in Piavon di Oderzo (TV). The event in its entirety was created to make wine and its connection with the villas known to journalists, sector operators, consumers but also to enthusiasts, thus becoming a privileged meeting moment to delve deeper into various topics. Three autumn events that will combine with great elegance the eternal beauty of the Venetian Villas, with guided tastings of the wines of the DOC Piave, DOC Lison Pramaggiore, DOC Venezia, DOCG Malanotte and DOCG Lison denominations and wines from native vines such as Lison, Raboso, Refosco pdr and the Manzoni crossroads. Winetasting which will take place in collaboration with Ais Veneto, to discover the great art of the past finally experienced in terms of conviviality and contemporary culture. During the event it will be possible to take part in guided tours inside the Villas lasting one hour and then continuing with guided tastings, a real event that embraces cultural and oenological themes. “The Villa, Wine and Venice event represents an opportunity to enhance both the denominations protected by our Consortium and to enhance the artistic-cultural heritage of the Venetian Villas . – declares Giorgio Piazza , President of the Consorzio Vini Venezia – The appointments will in fact be dedicated to guided tastings which will take place following the visits to the villa, this is because we want to allow the ever-large public to live a truly unique and most complete experience possible with a focus on the winemaking tradition of the area and on the historical-artistic importance of the Venetian Villas".

Useful information and program To participate in the event you will need to register via the Eventbrite platform. We would like to remind you that when booking the event, a payment of €15 will be required, which is inclusive of the guided tour of the Villa, followed by a free guided tasting of the denominations of the Consorzio Vini Venezia. The fee will be donated to the single Venetian Villa.
