GREAT TASTING AND MASTERCLASS OF WINES FROM UPPER PIEDMONT 29 and 30 March 2020 Eurostars Hotel Excelsior - Via Partenope, 48 Naples

For the first time, on Sunday 29 and Monday 30 March 2020, the Nebbioli of Upper Piedmont will land in Naples with the participation of over 20 wineries that will offer the latest vintages of the area's denominations: Boca DOC, Bramaterra DOC, Colline Novaresi DOC, Coste della Sesia DOC, Fara DOC, Gattinara DOCG, Ghemme DOCG, Lessona DOC, Sizzano DOC, Valleys Ossolane DOC.

An appointment organized by the Nebbioli Protection Consortium of Upper Piedmont with the support of the Piedmont Region and the collaboration of AIS Campania.

THE PROGRAM

During the days of Sunday 29 and Monday 30 March , the wine producers from the four provinces of Biella, Vercelli, Novara and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola will meet in the elegant rooms of the Hotel Excelsior in Naples to present the great wines of Upper Piedmont.

Through a walk around tasting and master classes dedicated to in-depth themes, the public of professionals and winelovers will have the opportunity to meet and discover the excellences of Upper Piedmont, in direct contact with producers and experts.

The tasting counters will be open to the public, the press and sector operators on Sunday 29 March from 11.00 to 20.30 and Monday 30 March from 10.30 to 16.00. The masterclasses will be held on Sunday and will be curated by Tommaso Luongo, Ais Napoli delegate and Franco De Luca, Ais Campania teaching coordinator, with the precious support of Mauro Carosso Ais Torino delegate, a profound connoisseur of high Piedmont wines.

Specifically, the first masterclass "The moraines, the wines shaped by ice and the emerged lands", dedicated to the denominations Ghemme, Fara, Sizzano, Colline Novaresi, Valli Ossolane, will be held on Sunday from 12:30 to 14:30, while the second "The children of fire, Pliocene sands and volcanic rocks" dedicated to the denominations Gattinara, Boca, Bramaterra, Lessona, Coste della Sesia, from 16:00 to 18:00.
