DiVino Etrusco, the 20th edition starts on a positive note

This year's opening days were once again very successful, with tens of thousands of visitors in the first four days. The event opened on August 20th at Palazzo Vitelleschi, home of the National Archaeological Museum of Tarquinia, and will resume from August 27th to 29th. Over 50 wineries will be featured in the 20th edition, with tastings accompanied by the professionalism of Fisar Tuscia Viterbese sommeliers. Alongside wines from the Etruscan Dodecapolis, visitors can also discover those from Sardinia, Calabria, and Sicily, in an opening toward the Mediterranean that recalls the commercial vocation and cultural exchanges of the Etruscan world.

"We are very pleased with the progress of this twentieth edition of DiVino Etrusco, which confirms the strength of an event that has become deeply rooted in Tarquinia," said Mayor Francesco Sposetti. "The numbers from the first few days reflect an event capable of attracting the public, showcasing our food and wine excellence, and simultaneously promoting the city's historical and cultural heritage." In addition to the wine offerings, each evening's program is enriched with concerts, art installations, cultural and literary gatherings, exhibitions, live performances, and guided tastings, for an immersive experience of Tarquinia's artistic heritage and atmosphere. High-quality street food is also given prominence, designed to complement and enhance the wines being tasted.

DiVino Etrusco is promoted and organized by the Municipality of Tarquinia, in collaboration with the Pro Loco Tarquinia and the renowned food and wine expert Carlo Zucchetti. It is sponsored by the Lazio Region, the Regional Agency for Agricultural Development and Innovation of Lazio (ARSIAL), the Province of Viterbo, the Rieti-Viterbo Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Culture – Archaeological Park of Cerveteri and Tarquinia. It also enjoys the support of the Viva Tarquinia cultural association.
