After the great success of the 24th edition of Profumi di Mosto , which on October 5th attracted over 1000 participants along the Brescia shore of Lake Garda, the Valtènesi Consortium is preparing for a new event: on Sunday October 19th, Villa Galnica , home of the Casa del Vino, will host a special tasting event, conceived as a natural continuation of the event.
“ Profumi di Mosto was a special and emotional moment for us ,” comments Paolo Pasini , president of the Valtènesi Consortium. “ We opened the doors of the cellars and the territory to share with the public the essence of this land and the work of our winemakers, with the harvest of the successful 2025 vintage still in fermentation. The great response to this edition confirms how strong the interest is in wines capable of expressing the profound bond with their place of origin. We are also particularly proud that four Valtènesi companies associated with the Consortium have obtained an important recognition such as the Tre Bicchieri del Gambero Rosso 2026: an achievement that rewards the winemaking vocation of Valtènesi, the artisan sensitivity applied in the vineyard and in the cellar and which confirms the constant growth of the denomination on the national and international level. The upcoming event on Sunday 19 October will be the opportunity to rediscover the spirit of Profumi di Mosto by tasting all the Valtènesi labels in a single dedicated day. to the identity of this wonderful territory enclosed between Lake Garda and the moraine hills ".
The special tasting will allow you to get to know the wines of the denomination up close, produced mainly with the native Groppello and Tuchì grape varieties, revealing the Mediterranean soul of Valtènesi, where character and lightness blend in every glass, defining an unmistakable identity.
Among the participating companies there will also be the four wineries that distinguished themselves by obtaining the “Tre Bicchieri” award from Gambero Rosso 2026 : Avanzi with the Valtènesi Rosavero 2024, F.lli Turina with the Valtènesi Setamora 2022, Pasini San Giovanni with the Valtènesi Lettera C 2022 and Tenute del Garda with the Valtènesi 2024
Through these events, the Valtènesi Consortium promotes slow tourism that combines wine culture, landscape exploration, and conviviality, strengthening the bond between Valtènesi and its visitors.
Valtènesi Consortium The Valtènesi Consortium represents one of the most authentic expressions of rosé wine in Italy. Nestled within the Riviera del Garda Classico DOC, this subzone boasts a centuries-old tradition that began in 1896 with Senator Molmenti, who first codified the rosé technique. Here, between the lake and the hills, wine embodies culture, identity, and aesthetic research. Thanks to Lake Garda's unique microclimate, Valtènesi is the northernmost area in Europe where olive trees and lemons grow. Since 2010, the subzone has been officially recognized, cementing its role as the home of authentic rosé. Today, the Consortium brings together 102 producers, mostly independent winemakers, custodians of a short and sustainable supply chain, who daily preserve the gentle and pioneering vision of their origins.
