Tasting followed by lunch Saturday 22 February 2025, 12.00 Palazzo Cancellieri, via Curtatone e Montanara 51, Pistoia.
The restaurant, wine and cocktail bar Baldo Vino, Tuscan excellence in the world of wine, mixology and gastronomy, hosts a charity event dedicated to Barolo and Barbaresco enthusiasts; a unique tasting in collaboration with the magazine Merum that will compare two great vintages, 2013 and 2019, with a selection of labels awarded by Merum.
The event will not only be an opportunity to explore the best Piedmontese wines, but also a moment of solidarity: the proceeds will in fact be donated to charity “Doctors Without Borders”.
The event will begin with a blind tasting of the 15 labels, during which participants, comfortably seated, will be able to taste and evaluate the wines following the judging criteria of the magazine Merum. An engaging experience that will allow you to discover and appreciate the characteristics of each label.
After the tasting, a three-course lunch will be served, prepared by chef Andrea Ciottoli, during which participants will have the opportunity to taste the wines again, this time no longer blind, and to pair them with Baldo Vino dishes.
The cost is 120 euros per person.
Participants will be able to discover some of the best labels of Barolo and Barbaresco, selected for the occasion and awarded by the magazine Merum:
