The second Expo of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini Consortium is on Friday

Second edition of the Expo of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini Consortium . The event, which last year was very popular among both operators and enthusiasts and the curious, will take place in the Brunelleschi Hall of the Istituto degli Innocenti on Friday 1st December .

An exhibition dedicated to quality wine and the culture of good living designed and organized to raise awareness of the specificities of Chianti Colli Fiorentini and the evocative areas that host it. A whole day dedicated to the wine of Florence to deepen our knowledge of it, with tastings and opportunities to meet and exchange with individual producers, as well as specific moments intended for the press and sector operators. A fundamental moment in which the various players in the wine market will be involved, with specific segments for each category.

The initiative was born from the idea and intuition of the members of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini Consortium who, in this way, will have the opportunity to let journalists, industry experts and simple enthusiasts know about the qualities and peculiarities of the wines produced and all the activities that these companies carry out on a daily basis.

The event has the support of Vetrina Toscana: the Region's project, in collaboration with Unioncamere Toscana, which promotes food and wine tourism; directed by Toscana Promozione Turistica assisted by Fondazione Sistema Toscana.

The day will start in the morning with events dedicated to the Italian and foreign press, with journalists who will have the opportunity to taste the Consortium's products but also get to know one of the most evocative areas of Tuscany. In the afternoon, from 2pm to 8pm , the event will open to the public , who will be able to taste the wines of the Consortium producers present.

To participate in the tasting, the public is required to make a minimum donation of €10.00 per person which will be donated to the Istituto degli Innocenti Ets Foundation to support the various reception and education activities for children and families in difficulty. Chianti Colli Fiorentini wine is not only a high quality product that bears the name of Tuscany throughout the world, but it is also an element of value and wealth and this event, which was already successful last year, demonstrates how much greater is the strength of a product if the territories are united and, united, work together, as in this case".

The event had the support of the 16 Municipalities that host the producers of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini Consortium, demonstrating the high value of the event in terms of visibility and value. The municipalities are: Bagno a Ripoli, Barberino Tavarnelle, Certaldo, Fiesole, Figline and Incisa Val d'Arno, Florence, Impruneta, Lastra a Signa, Montelupo Fiorentino, Montespertoli, Pelago, Pontassieve, Reggello, Rignano sull'Arno, San Casciano Val of Pesa, Scandicci.
