ANDREOLA REVEALS “MARNA DEL BACIO” AT VINITALY 2025: THE NEW JEWEL OF THE SHORES OF VALDOBBIADENE DOCG, BETWEEN OUTCROWING ROCK AND VINES RICH IN HISTORY, A SYMBOL OF HEROIC VITICULTURE

The brand new “ Marna del Bacio” Valdobbiadene DOCG Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza , the new Extra Brut by Andreola , will debut at Vinitaly 2025. A sparkling wine that brings the purest essence of heroic viticulture to the glass, born from a vineyard that challenges verticality and dialogues with the mother rock of the Valdobbiadene hills.

Fruit of the 2024 harvest, “Marna del Bacio” is born in the heart of San Pietro di Barbozza, on a plot of about 2 hectares that extends between 300 and 350 meters above sea level. Here the slopes reach 80% and the work in the vineyard is an act of resistance and testimony to heroic viticulture.

The grapes come from a small strip of land that takes its name from the toponymBacio ”, which is considered one of the most prestigious in the town of San Pietro di Barbozza , in the municipality of Valdobbiadene .

The soil , made up of calcareous marl and outcropping Biancone, gives the wine a strong flavour, while the microclimate, characterised by strong temperature variations, enhances the aromatic finesse of the Glera.

The vineyard benefits from optimal drainage, essential in one of the rainiest areas of the denomination, and an east-west exposure that guarantees maximum solar interception, favoring perfect ripening of the grapes.

The uniqueness of this terroir is reflected in the character of the wine: an Extra Brut of extraordinary elegance and complexity, which embodies the purest identity of Valdobbiadene DOCG.

“Marna del Bacio” stands out for its crystalline, fine and persistent perlage, accompanied by a light yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses itself with notes of white flowers and green apple, while on the palate it conquers with a decisive, complex and elegant taste, supported by a vibrant flavor and an incisive freshness. The foam is creamy, to underline the refined structure of this Extra Brut, obtained with the Martinotti Method.

Versatile and elegant, it lends itself to sophisticated aperitifs and gastronomic pairings ranging from raw fish to fresh cheeses, up to the most authentic traditional cuisine.
