Cesena in Bolla: 900 labels and 156 top wineries at the Fair

The event dedicated to the best Italian and foreign Classic Method sparkling wines returns to Cesena Fiera on 12 and 13 February in the Pievesestina pavilions.

Open to industry professionals, wine lovers and sommeliers, the event presents bubbles from Franciacorta, Trento Doc, Oltrepò Pavese, Alta Langa, Champagne and Cava, as well as other Italian territories suited to sparkling wine production. Also available for tasting at the producers' tables are great reds and whites along with quality food options.

The ninth edition of 'Cesena in Bolla # Not just bubbles' returns on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 February , the event linked to national and international 'bubbles' whose consumption continues to grow in Italy and around the world without experiencing a crisis. Under the spotlight at Cesena Fiera are the best Classic Method Sparkling Wines which are concentrated in the 4 most suitable territories of the Belpaese: Franciacorta, Trento Doc, Oltrepò Pavese, Altalanga . These are echoed by a large group of bubbles from beyond the Alps with Champagne and Cremant from France and Cava from Spain. Without forgetting the best Prosecco accompanied by a selection of other Martinotti Method bubbles from all over Italy, present in a percentage of approximately 1 in 5 compared to the Classic Method. Paired with wine, as per tradition in Cesena In Bolla, excellent quality food tastings with Officine Gastronomiche Spadoni, Gardini's signature chocolate, the Antica Foma cured meat factory in Modena and, from the heart of Tuscany, Siena Tartufi, with a rich selection of cured meats, cheeses and of course the prized truffles.

Continuing with the numbers, there are over 156 total wineries represented at the Fair, for around 900 labels to be tasted among sparkling wines and other references put forward by producers from all over Italy, including Emilia Romagna who, to complete the offer, accompany the bubbles with their best selections of still whites and reds.

Organized by Taste Production , a company from Romagna that offers services in the world of wine and food to the Horeca sector, Cesena in Bolla is organized once again in the large spaces of Cesena Fiera , reconfirming its vocation to B2B with sector operators who they enter the Fair free of charge upon mandatory registration on the site. But the event has not forgotten wine lovers and sommeliers either, who are welcome in Cesena in Bolla, but with limited and paid admissions (200 tickets available for 35 euros over the two days of the fair, which can be purchased directly at the entrance).

In fact, born in 2014 at the Forlì Golf Club as a fashionable event, the following year 'In Bolla' moved to Cesena, choosing the Teatro Verdi for a few years to the delight of hundreds of wine lovers who packed the rooms every year. Then, in 2022, the definitive move to the Fair in Pievesestina for the logistical advantages (proximity to the A14 and E45, and the availability of hundreds of free parking spaces) and to meet the professional needs of restaurants, bars, wine bars and hotels, coming from all over Northern Italy and the Romagna Riviera which await the Cesena event in February to renew and strengthen their wine list.
