Bringing the imagery of Friulian gardens to life and transforming it into a space for meeting and tasting: Collavini inaugurates its new stand at Vinitaly 2026, showcasing plants, trees, and botanicals. The display speaks of local culture, circularity, and ecology through a simple, concrete, and highly recognizable design. The historic Corno di Rosazzo company showcases the colors, plants, and atmosphere of Friulian villa gardens at the fair, presenting them in a contemporary and restrained form. Once the event concludes, the botanical species that adorn the stand will return to Friuli to find a home in local woodlands and gardens.
The creative idea stems from the desire to create, within the often uniform context of trade fair spaces, a secluded environment, a true hidden garden where the botanical display interacts with a material layout consistent with the typical needs of a stand. The modular green plywood components combined with recycled furnishings and displays , sourced from Collavini's domestic world, reinforce the concept of circularity and the sense of continuity between the company and its territory. The 8-meter-high green fabric backdrop and the neutral and deliberately sincere concrete floor frame the stand, recreating the relaxed atmosphere of a welcoming and understated outdoor area.
The stand was designed by Genny Canton Studio of Fiume Veneto (Pordenone) with the collaboration of expert Ruggero Bosco, founder of the Botanica Santa Marizza garden and nursery (Udine). The botanical species that define the stand's interior landscape are: Fagus sylvatica 'Purpurea Major', Tilia cordata, Heptacodium miconioides, Acer griseum, Cornus mas, Ligustrum japonicum, Malus domestica 'Annurca', Photinia serratifolia 'Crunchy', and Ginkgo biloba 'Tit' .
"We chose to renovate our stand at Vinitaly because we wanted to create a space that wouldn't just host wines and tastings, but would also express the welcoming colors of Friulian gardens," says Luigi Collavini , the company's sales manager. "For us, it was important to bring a sense of balance, peace, and authenticity to the fair. This space, along with the aesthetic and responsible nature of the project—all the components of the stand will be used and reused in other locations—heralds the launch of the Oltre il Giardino line."
Oltre il Giardino is Collavini's new winemaking project , aiming to enhance the identity of the Friulian hills, starting with the terroir , the typical characteristics of the soil. Here, the Ponca —a stratification of marl and sandstone—defines the profile of single-varietal wines from grape varieties such as Friulano, Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Oltre il Giardino describes a project that begins with the careful selection of vineyards, aiming to produce elegant wines with minimal intervention in the cellar, providing a clear oenological vision that reflects the terroir.
