An area suited to viticulture, characterized by breathtaking views of vineyards, meadows and woods that, in autumn, smell of Alba white truffle. The Bera family's winemaking history has its roots in the nineteenth century, but the decisive turning point came in the mid-twentieth century thanks to the commitment of Sisto Bera and Maria Sandri. In the 1970s, under the guidance of Valter Bera, the company embarked on a path of specialization, enhancing Moscato d'Asti and Asti Spumante, in addition to the Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto vineyards. Today, with a consolidated presence of 40 hectares of vineyards, the company continues to grow under the guidance of Valter Bera, supported by his wife Alida Chiarle and his sons Umberto and Riccardo. Moscato remains the soul of the company, while Nebbiolo represents its inspiration, giving life to various Barbaresco crus. The acquisition of a farmhouse in Monforte d'Alba, in the renowned Mosconi and Ginestra crus, has further strengthened the bond with Barolo. Faithfulness to tradition, family values and respect for the territory are the principles that guide Bera. Thanks to its history, Bera confirms itself as a point of reference in the wine scene, with a recognized excellence in sweet wines such as Moscato d'Asti and Asti DOCG, in Barbaresco DOCG and in the historic classic method of Piedmont, today Alta Langa DOCG.
