For this edition of Vinitaly the key element chosen by Enoteca Regionale is one of the most famous and ancient Italian "symbols": the Via Aemilia, the longest and most important road in Italy, built by the consul Marcus Aemilius Lepidus in 187 B.C. and which all travelers still follow in their movements from North to South.
As noted by Pierluigi Sciolette, Chairman of Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna: «throughout his path, from Rimini to Piacenza, is that line which gives continuity and unity to our entire region, with only a small detour to reach the Ferrara area, meanwhile embracing the peculiarities of the different territories it goes through: culture, gastronomy, landscapes, traditions and, above all, unique features in the wines offered. It is important to remind, in effect, that each individual territory is characterized in a very precise way by one or more leading vineyards».
