The Valtènesi Consortium is preparing for a spring 2026 packed with strategic events, with a comprehensive calendar of events that combines international promotion, local development, and the appellation's identity. From major trade fairs to meetings with the press, industry professionals, and the public, the program confirms the Consortium's commitment to strengthening the positioning of the Valtènesi region and the rosé from the Brescia side of Lake Garda as authentic, contemporary expressions deeply rooted in the Garda landscape.
February 14th also marks a symbolic date for the denomination: it is the day from which Valtènesi rosé can officially be released for sale, a moment that represents the beginning of a new production cycle and renews the dialogue between the territory, producers, and enthusiasts.
" The calendar for these first months of 2026 reflects a clear and shared vision: to tell the story of Valtènesi through quality experiences that unite wine, territory, and people in an authentic and contemporary narrative, " says Paolo Pasini, president of the Valtènesi Consortium . " Each event is designed as a concrete opportunity for dialogue, discussion, and growth, not only on international markets, but also in relationships with wine lovers, restaurants, the press, and all the professionals who contribute every day to building the value of the denomination. This journey focuses on the identity of the Brescia side of Lake Garda, the uniqueness of our rosé, which embodies its most authentic spirit, and the work of our producers, with the aim of strengthening the positioning of Valtènesi and supporting its development in a coherent and sustainable manner ."
The year begins with a strong presence in international markets: from February 9th to 11th, the Consortium participated in Wine Paris, as part of the Lake Garda Wines group show, joining the main Lake Garda Consortia in a collaborative presentation of the region. February also includes participation in BIT Milan, in collaboration with the Lombardy Region, to promote the connection between wine, tourism, and local identity, and at the Slow Wine Fair in Bologna, where the Consortium will be a key participant in the "Terroir and Slow Spirit" Wine Card Award as the representative for the Emerging Italian Territories category.
The international journey continues in March with a presence in Düsseldorf: first with Tre Bicchieri – Special Edition ProWein in collaboration with Gambero Rosso , then at ProWein 2026 , where the Valtènesi Consortium will host an educational and discussion session dedicated to rosé as part of the PDO Rosé Educational Hub project, developed in synergy with partners from Provence . The initiative stems from a dialogue between two iconic European rosé regions and is part of a broader project to promote the denominations, based on their specific viticultural vocation and the sharing of skills and visions. This cultural and strategic journey strengthens the international positioning of rosé, promoting its authenticity, quality, and connection to the local regions through a shared and recognizable narrative.
Alongside the trade fairs, the calendar for the first few months of 2026 dedicates ample space to local events. On March 23 , La Prima del Valtènesi returns, an event reserved for press and industry professionals to present the new vintages. Spring will also feature initiatives such as Valtènesi in… Tavola!, a food and wine festival featuring restaurants within the appellation, and an educational tour for Italian journalists, designed to offer an immersive experience exploring the wineries, landscape, and production culture.
Among the iconic events of these first months of the year are the traditional Valtènesi in Rosa at the Castle of Moniga del Garda , the Polpenazze Wine Festival combined with the 20th edition of the Valtènesi Wine Competition – Riviera del Garda Classico and San Martino della Battaglia , and the series of dinners at the Casa del Vino in Puegnago, dedicated to the dialogue between wine and haute cuisine. These initiatives confirm the Consortium's role as a promoter of a denomination capable of reaching diverse audiences, combining production quality, culture, and conviviality.
With this rich calendar, the Valtènesi Consortium confirms its vision of integrated promotion, in which experiences, relationships, and culture become tools to narrate the region in an authentic and shared way, strengthening ties with the public and consolidating Valtènesi's recognition as a living and contemporary identity in the national and international winemaking scene.
