TERRE D'AENÒR AT MILAN DESIGN WEEK

In the most vibrant heart of Milan, where every April design becomes a universal language, an unprecedented dialogue is ignited between matter and vision, light and taste.

On April 10, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Terre d'Aenòr officially debuts at Milan Design Week with an exclusive evening by invitation, in the courtyard of the Galleria Michela Cattai & C., in via Brera 4. A meeting of contemporary art, organic wine and Mediterranean visions that will give life to ART E DESIGN IN DIALOGO , an initiative included in the official calendar of the Brera Design District and inspired by the theme “Connected Worlds”. In the evocative setting of the Gallery, ARBOREA VITREA takes shape, the new collection designed by Michela Cattai, an artist and designer known for her ability to explore the purest soul of matter, transforming glass into organic and luminous surfaces. Her works and lamps will dialogue with the Arab living room designed by Jwana Hamdan , an evocative installation that reinterprets the outdoor space through Mediterranean codes and convivial hospitality. Via Brera, the heart of Milanese design, confirms itself as a crossroads of international creativity. The Brera Design District, of which Galleria Michela Cattai is part, has been one of the most iconic areas of Milan Design Week for years, where galleries, showrooms, architectural studios and emerging brands merge into a collective story made of languages in dialogue. With the ARBOREA VITREA collection, Michela Cattai continues her personal journey of investigation into the memory of matter and transparency as a language. Each work is born from the slow gesture of glass blowing, from the ability to retain light and transform it into atmosphere. Murano glass, an archetype of Venetian tradition, is transfigured into contemporary forms, light as leaves, solid as roots. «I am interested in the relationship between gesture and substance, between nature and abstraction», says the artist. «Glass is an ancient and living material, which requires respect and listening. As happens with wine.» In this context, the wines of Terre d'Aenòr will accompany guests on a sensory journey designed to blend with the visual and tactile emotions of the installations. The Extra Brut Millesimato , one of the most identifying references of the winery, will be served for the occasion. "We enthusiastically accepted the invitation to participate in the MDW: it is a showcase of great creative energy, a place where art is contaminated and generates new meanings. Wine, like design, has the power to connect worlds, languages and people", says Eleonora Bianchi , founder and CEO of Terre d'Aenòr. Founded in 2018 with organic certification since the first harvest, Terre d'Aenòr interprets Franciacorta through a mosaic of 46 hectares spread across seven municipalities, vinifying each plot in purity to return profound, elegant and recognizable wines over time. But it is not only the production precision that defines the identity of the winery: the link with contemporary art, the attention to aesthetics and a packaging inspired by the artistic avant-garde of the twentieth century tell a broader vision, in which wine and art share the same formal and conceptual sensitivity. Entrance to the event will be by invitation, indicated by the Brera Design District flag at the entrance of via Brera4. An opportunity to celebrate the beauty of connected languages: the material that is shaped into glass, the wine that is born from the earth, the design that tells of cultures and traditions.
