On March 31 , Turin welcomed the unique charm of Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG with the 2025 edition of “ Preview Ruch è”, the event organized by the Consorzio Barbera d'Asti e Vini del Monferrato in collaboration with GoWine. A day entirely dedicated to the new vintage of this small, precious Piedmontese denomination that, with intense aromas and different interpretations, has once again managed to surprise the public and operators.
“Anteprima Ruchè was created to tell the value of this denomination through the voice of its producers, and the results confirm that the path taken is the right one – says Vitaliano Maccario , president of the Consorzio Barbera d'Asti e vini del Monferrato –. The 2025 edition was a success in terms of participation and perceived quality, but above all it reaffirmed the strength and coherence of a shared project. The Consortium, also through these events, becomes the spokesperson of a territory rich in nuances and excellence, pursuing the goal of protecting, promoting and communicating the denominations”.
The NH Collection in Piazza Carlina provided the backdrop for an event that is increasingly anticipated , capable of attracting the interest of journalists, industry professionals and wine lovers. In the afternoon, a blind tasting allowed wine professionals to explore the characteristics of Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG, with a careful focus on balance , aroma and evolutionary potential . In the evening , the tasting tables of the participating companies offered the general public the opportunity to get to know the producers and the thousand nuances of this precious wine up close.
Great participation of the consortium companies; different realities, united by the same dedication in enhancing one of the most identifying vines of the Monferrato Astigiano.
With approximately 220 hectares of vineyards distributed across seven municipalities in the Asti area , Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG continues to make its way among Piedmont's excellences , thanks to a recognizable aromatic identity and an increasingly solid positioning, in Italy and abroad. The Turin event confirmed, once again, the liveliness of the denomination and the ability of companies to combine vision, roots and quality, in a story that speaks to the future without losing the bond with the land. The next eagerly awaited event with this characteristic denomination is set for May 17-18 on the occasion of the “Festa del Ruchè” at the “Tenuta La Mercantile”, Castagnole Monferrato (AT)
