For its 45th anniversary, Cantina Pizzolato is giving a gift to the area.

  • 22/09/2026

On September 26th, the winery opens its doors to the public to celebrate its anniversary and presents "Together for Nature," its new social project dedicated to the community. Among the 45th anniversary highlights are the sustainable restyling of the Family Collection and the debut of the new Prosecco DOC Extra Brut.

Forty-five years of business, a family history spanning multiple generations, and a commitment to organic winemaking that has defined the company's identity and path over time. In 2026, Cantina Pizzolato celebrates its 45th anniversary, choosing to do so with a focus on the future, transforming this milestone into an opportunity to share its commitment to sustainability with the local community and future generations. The journey began in 1981 with Settimo Pizzolato and his decision to embrace a different approach to farming, which led to the winery's organic certification in 1991. Since then, the company has grown, maintaining organic as its guiding principle and progressively expanding the meaning of sustainability, from vineyard management to production decisions, from resource management and packaging to social responsibility. This journey has now seen Cantina Pizzolato become a Benefit Corporation and Equalitas certified. 45 YEARS TO SHARE The highlight of the celebrations will be Saturday, September 26, when the Villorba winery will open its doors to the public to celebrate this milestone together. A day designed not only to retrace the journey from 1981 to today, but also to share it with the people, the community, and the region that have accompanied the company's growth. On this occasion, Cantina Pizzolato will officially present "Together for Nature," the social project chosen to celebrate its 45th anniversary and leave a tangible mark on the region. A gift the winery has decided to give not to itself, but to the community. TOGETHER FOR NATURE, A PROJECT FROM THE COMMUNITY FOR THE COMMUNITY. The project was born from the ideas, experiences, and perspectives of those who live in the region every day and takes the form of a widespread challenge dedicated to naturalistic intelligence in children—our future—understood as the ability to observe nature, understand its balance, feel part of the environment around us, and learn to care for it. People with diverse experiences, professional backgrounds, and sensitivities will have the opportunity to work together on proposals capable of generating a tangible positive impact, dedicated to children, in sports, education, and the local community. Participants will work in small groups, accompanied by mentors, to transform their ideas into concrete proposals. A jury will select the best project, with the opportunity to bring it to fruition together with Cantina Pizzolato in 2027. This participatory approach encapsulates the principle behind the initiative: a project born from the community, for the community. "Forty-five years inevitably lead us to look back at the progress we've made, but I believe it's especially valuable if it serves as a starting point. From the beginning, we've tried to work with a focus not only on the present, but also on what we'll leave behind. Today, this responsibility extends to my family, the people who work with us, and the community we're part of. That's why we chose to celebrate this anniversary by opening up to the community and fostering new ideas that can generate something concrete for future generations." Settimo Pizzolato, founder and CEO of Cantina Pizzolato, thus marks the 45th anniversary of the company's foundation. The company's 45th anniversary thus becomes a time to review its journey, but above all, to reaffirm a vision that has evolved over the years. Organic remains the starting point for a broader responsibility, involving the environment, people, and the very way of doing business. THE FAMILY COLLECTION IS RENEWED FOR THE 45TH ANNIVERSARY. This journey also includes the redesign of the Family Collection, the line that most directly illustrates the connection between the winery's history and the generations of the Pizzolato family. Frederik and Stefany are dedicated to Federico and Stefania, Settimo's children, while Leonard and Gregory are named after Leonardo and Gregorio, Federico's sons and representatives of the younger generation of the family. For the anniversary, the collection is being updated with packaging designed to enhance the wines' elegance while maintaining sustainability as a design principle. The main innovation is the adoption of the Symbiosis® capsule, a technology developed by the Crealis Group, completely plastic-free and composed primarily of paper combined with aluminum. Compared to the previous Derma 75 capsules used by the winery, Symbiosis® allows for a reduction in CO₂ emissions of up to 30%*. Even the opening experience is part of the project: the capsule recalls the gesture of unwrapping a gift, reinforcing the collection's narrative. The Family Collection includes Frederik, Spumante Chardonnay Extra Brut; Stefany, Prosecco Superiore DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene Extra Dry; Leonard, Prosecco Superiore DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene Brut; Prosecco DOC Extra Dry; and Gregory, the new organic Prosecco DOC Extra Brut. Gregory represents the new addition to the 45th anniversary collection. It stands out for its clean, dry profile, good flavor, and a fruity, mineral finish, characteristics that earned it the Dama d'Oro at EnoConegliano 2026, first prize in its category. Family, community, territory, and responsibility for the future. Forty-five years after its founding, Cantina Pizzolato has chosen to celebrate its journey not only by remembering what has been achieved, but also by striving to shape what may come next.
