The Valtènesi Consortium is preparing for an autumn full of events that reveal the soul of this unique territory, suspended between the lake and the hills: I Giardini della Casa del Vino ( 13 September 2025 ) and Profumi di Mosto ( 5 October 2025 ). Two distinct yet complementary events that celebrate the bond between Valtènesi and its wines, the cradle of rosé and a viticulture capable of expressing an unmistakable identity and character.
“ These events are precious opportunities to open the doors of the area, welcome visitors and residents, and tell our identity through our wines, ” says Paolo Pasini , president of the Valtènesi Consortium. “ Valtènesi is an extraordinary land, and its wines are pearls of fine craftsmanship that express with finesse and elegance the refined Mediterranean nature of the Brescian lakeside, where they originate. Our history and our vocation are reflected in the glasses: a heritage we want to share with those who choose to enjoy authentic experiences between the lake and the hills.”
The first event will be Saturday, September 13th at Villa Galnica, Puegnago del Garda , with the 5th edition of I Giardini della Casa del Vino . An open-air evening featuring music, artistic performances, and local gourmet food, with over 80 labels from 44 wineries served by ONAV Brescia tasters. The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Sante Bonomo Award for the best Groppello-based red wine of the year, followed by a toast with the winning producer. Full program details, accreditation procedures, and the complete list of wineries will be available on the event's official website: casadelvinovaltenesi.it/i-giardini-della-casa-del-vino .
Sunday , October 5th will see Profumi di Mosto , a multi-day event that will lead visitors on a discovery tour of 25 Valtènesi wineries . Each winery will offer three wines for tasting, paired with a food sampling , showcasing the aromas and unique character of each producer. Participants can freely create their own itinerary or choose from three-stop guided tours, designed to showcase the diverse character of the region. All information on the participating wineries, available tours, and booking methods are already online on the dedicated website: www.profumidimosto.it .
Two events that combine conviviality and wine culture, confirming Valtènesi as a land dedicated to hospitality and winemaking excellence.
Valtènesi Consortium The Valtènesi Consortium represents one of the most authentic expressions of rosé wine in Italy. Nestled within the Riviera del Garda Classico DOC, this subzone boasts a centuries-old tradition that began in 1896 with Senator Molmenti, who first codified the rosé technique. Here, between the lake and the hills, wine embodies culture, identity, and aesthetic research. Thanks to Lake Garda's unique microclimate, Valtènesi is the northernmost area in Europe where olive trees and lemons grow. Since 2010, the subzone has been officially recognized, cementing its role as the home of authentic rosé. Today, the Consortium brings together 102 producers, mostly independent winemakers, custodians of a short and sustainable supply chain, who daily preserve the gentle and pioneering vision of their origins.
