A winter twist: Alta Badia Cocktail Week returns from January 10th to 17th.
Eight evenings, 56 cocktails, and a common principle: "Ladin Culture First." Guest bartenders and the in-house bar team reinterpret Alta Badia through contemporary mixology.
Alta Badia, September 17, 2026 – When the sun sets, Alta Badia changes pace. The lights dim, time slows, and the bar becomes a meeting place.
From January 10th to 17th, 2027, Alta Badia Cocktail Week returns, the event that brings a contemporary twist to the valley's winter evenings. For eight consecutive nights, the event will move to a different location, spanning Alta Badia.
Now in its second year, Alta Badia Cocktail Week builds on the original idea: to highlight the quality of the valley's offerings and showcase the cocktail culture that enlivens evenings in Alta Badia, from aperitif time to after-dinner drinks. This vision goes beyond simple après-ski and takes the form of an itinerary to be savored, stage by stage, or even just for a single evening. A contemporary ritual made of precise gestures, rhythms that invite you to slow down, and cocktails that draw on the international scene without losing their connection to the place where they were born.
Ladin Culture First
For the 2027 edition, all participating bartenders will begin with a common principle: "Ladin Culture First." Each cocktail must contain a recognizable reference to Alta Badia. The region may emerge through the name, color, concept, or ingredients, but it must be a substantial part of the creation, not simply a framework.
Each recipe will contain at least one local ingredient, chosen from herbs, honey, dairy products, or Alpine juices. The name will be tied to a place or element of Alta Badia's identity, and each drink will be accompanied by a short story that captures its inspiration.
Even the recipe construction will follow a precise idea of simplicity: no more than five ingredients, a technique easily replicable during service and a final garnish – essential and entirely edible.
One territory, two drink lists
Each participating establishment will offer its own drink list consisting of three cocktails created by its in-house bar team: two alcoholic and one non-alcoholic. The three creations will be available for the entire duration of the event, priced at €12 each.
On their assigned evening, each establishment will also host a guest shift: a guest bartender will join the in-house bar team and present four additional cocktails, including at least one non-alcoholic option. The four guest bartenders' cocktails will be available exclusively on their assigned evening, again at a price of €12 per cocktail.
Over the course of the week, the eight bar teams and eight guest bartenders will bring to life 56 creations, of which at least 16 will be non-alcoholic.
The inclusion of non-alcoholic beverages on every menu isn't a secondary addition, but rather brings the themes of choice, balance, and responsible drinking into the creative process. Drinking well, in this case, means, above all, choosing carefully.
Eight guest bartenders, three partners
Guest bartenders will be involved through collaborations with Campari, Velier, and Brown-Forman: two guest bartenders for Campari, three for Velier, and three for Brown-Forman. Each participating establishment will be paired with one of the partners. During the guest shift, the guest bartender will create their own creations, primarily using products from the respective range.
The resident bar teams' drink lists, however, will not be tied to a single partner: across the three cocktails, each venue will use at least one Campari, one Velier, and one Brown-Forman, while retaining the freedom to complement the recipes with other ingredients. All proposals will be developed and validated in collaboration with the relevant partner and Graus, which supports the organization in project development and operational coordination.
The full lineup, including the names of the guest bartenders, their venues, and their cities of origin, will be announced soon.
"Alta Badia has made quality a distinctive feature of its identity," says Roberto Huber, Director of Alta Badia Brand. "With Alta Badia Cocktail Week, we want to highlight a still under-reported aspect of the destination. In recent years, many venues and businesses have developed highly interesting ideas and concepts with an international reach. This event shapes this movement and supports its growth, a natural evolution of the region. The pleasures of the table have always been a central part of the Alta Badia experience, both in the valley and at altitude: cocktail time today adds a new language to this narrative."
Three masterclasses to grow cocktail culture in the valley
In addition to the public program, Alta Badia Cocktail Week will include three professional masterclasses, scheduled for January 11, 13, and 15 at the Graus venue. Each session will be dedicated to one of the three partners and will be led by guest bartenders. The masterclasses will not be open to the public, but bartenders from Alta Badia's associated establishments, including those not directly involved in Cocktail Week, will be able to participate. The goal is to ensure that the exchange of techniques and experiences goes beyond individual evenings, but contributes to the growth of mixology expertise throughout the entire destination.
