Trento Rosè

Organoleptic characteristics:
This wine has a more or less pale pink color, it has a characteristic aroma with a delicate hint of yeast, sometimes fruity. In the mouth it is lively, well-balanced, moderately full-bodied, from brut nature to sweet.
Historical-cultural information and curiosities:
In Trentino, viticulture has been present since ancient times (many finds belong to the Bronze Age) and was handed down from age to age, from culture to culture, through the Roman Empire and the Middle Ages to our days. Not only the cultivation of vines, but also the production of wines have been, and are still today, source of support for many families and crucial economic activities in the region.
The production of sparkling wine began in the early years of the twentieth century, and has never stopped, so, after the "Trentino" denominaiton, the Trento DOC has been recognised, reserved exclusively to the sparkling wine obtained with the method of second fermentation in bottle.
Serving suggestions:
The Trento DOC Rosato is excellent as an aperitif. During the meal it is excellent with dishes of fish, white meats or light appetizers.

Territories in the province of Trento.

Production techniques:
Sugars and yeasts are added to the basic wine. Bottling and a second fermentation follow, and then the phases of the rest on the yeast, the elimination of residues, the dosage and finally the capping occur.
Vines that are allowed to produce it:
Chardonnay (55%) and Pinot Noir (45%).
