Our Merlot, grown on the fertile clay soils of the Grave del Friuli region, is a tribute to the winemaking tradition that highlights the purity of the grape variety. The vines are trained using the Guyot system. Visually, the Merlot displays a deep ruby red color, a promise of richness that is fully revealed on the nose and palate. The intensely fruity bouquet harmoniously intertwines notes of ripe red berries with elegant tertiary aromas derived from aging in wood. This barrique maturation process enriches the wine with fascinating complexity, making it a true pleasure for the senses. On the palate, the Orzaia Merlot is soft and harmonious. A light, well-integrated tannin gives the wine structure, while the fine aromatic persistence invites another sip. Serve at the ideal temperature of 18°C. From the careful selection of the grapes to the meticulous vinification and cellar aging, every step is designed to create a Merlot that is a faithful expression of our terroir and our passion for quality wines.
