Rosazzo Rosso

Livio Felluga

Created in 1989, it takes its name from the small stream "Soss" that lies at the foot of the hill where the grapes grow. Fruit of a careful selection of Merlot and Refosco grapes - with a small percentage of Pignolo - produced by the older vineyards of Rosazzo, the result of a meticulous vinification and of aging in small barrels that lasts eighteen months. It is a wine of great complexity and structure, distinguished by elegant tannins, ripe, sweet, fruity. Color: intense ruby red, almost impenetrable. Bouquet: rich, elegant, with multiple facets, with overwhelming sweet sensations: custard notes blend with hints of small berry red fruits, hints of white pepper and smoke. Taste: full bodied, elegant, well-balanced. The strong saltiness is perfectly integrated with the sweetness of the tannins. Sensations of cherry pulp, references to balsamic essences, pistachio and sweet spices can be identified.
