Dry red couve. Its aroma is intense, fruity, vinous, with hints of black cherry and licorice. It has a beautiful ruby red color tending slightly to garnet. It is an alcoholic wine, full bodied, of persistent flavour, soft, slightly tannic. It becomes velvety after a proper aging (at least two years). It goes well with strong and fat meats, grilled pork, stewed lamb or roasted goat kid. To be served at a temperature of 16-18 degrees Celsius after a few minutes of breathing.
