Italian Red Wine Collepino

Description of the wine: This wine represents a different interpretation from the typical character of Tuscan wines. A versatile wine, to be consumed throughout the meal, but characteristic. Organoleptic characteristics: The Collepino wine has intense ruby ​​red color, fresh and fruity aroma with hints of black currant, plum and raspberry. In the mouth it is soft, with sweet tannins. Serving suggestions: Served with main courses and red and white meats. Production area: Tuscany. Production techniques: The vinification of the grapes takes place in stainless steel tanks for a week at a controlled temperature. After alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation follows and, and at the end of these processes, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for a period of two months. Vines that are allowed to produce it: Sangiovese (50%) and Merlot (50%).
