Fusilli with Speck ham and pumpkin

Ingredients:
500 g pumpkin



400 g Fusilli pasta



150 g of speck ham



onion



extra virgin olive oil



salt

Instructions
Peel the pumpkin and cut it into cubes.



In a large pan, fry briefly a small onion in oil and add the pumpkin; salt, stir and cook over a quite lively fire until the cubes are soft enough.



Add the bacon, cut into strips.



Cook pasta firm to the bite ("al dente"), drain it and add it, with a bit of its cooking water, to pumpkin.



Stir–fry the pasta letting it flavour well.
