Ingredients:
200 g sugar
150 g butter
500 g flour 00
3 eggs
1 bag of yeast
1 pinch of salt
1 small glass of grappa
1/2 glass of milk
grated rind of a lemon
Instructions
Form a fountain of flour, add salt and baking powder; in the middle put the remaining ingredients: softened butter, eggs, sugar, milk, lemon peel and grappa.
Stir gradually incorporating all the ingredients and knead well.
Line a baking tray with some baking paper.
Form a "sausage" with the dough and put it in the plate giving it a circular shape.
Brush the surface with egg yolk and put on granulated sugar.
Bake at 180°C for 30–35 minutes.
