Terre d'Oltrepò , the largest cooperative in Lombardy based in Broni, which brings together around 800 members throughout the Oltrepò and three wineries in Casteggio, Broni and Santa Maria della Versa, will participate in Vinitaly 2023 ( PalaExpo Lombardia D11 ) with two important innovations.
On Monday 3 April at 5 pm at the cooperative's stand, the new La Versa line will be the protagonist of an aperitif to tell the story of the bubbles that have made the history of the Classic Method . In more than one hundred years of production, La Versa has remained faithful to the original idea of its founder, Cesare Gustavo Faravelli, who on 21 May 1905 decided, with the first twenty-two partners, to produce wines of excellent quality, capable of expressing the best the characteristics of the best grapes of its native territory.

La Versa is, today, an internationally recognized and awarded brand (Decanter Wine Awards, Slow Wine, Gambero Rosso and in 2019 "Best winery in Oltrepò Pavese" by Vinitaly). Its vocation in sparkling wine draws strength from its prestigious past: La Versa was in fact the first Italian Millesimato , a recognized brand and offered on all the best tables in the world's restaurants. |

The other important novelty is the line of wines from Viticoltori in Broni . With over 600 contributor members, it is the brand dedicated to consumers of modern Italian and international distribution, created to offer the most authentic expression of Oltrepò Pavese viticulture with a complete range of DOC still and sparkling wines produced with care, passion and competence. |

Who we are
Terre d'Oltrepò was born on 1 July 2008 following the merger act between the Intercommunal Cantina Sociale di Broni born in 1960 and the Cantina di Casteggio born in 1907. Two historical wineries that have made a precise choice, that of looking to the future by getting back into the game under the Terre d'Oltrepò hat brand. Today reality that hands down traditions and historicity. This merger gave rise to the most important winemaking reality in the Oltrepò Pavese and North-Western Italy.

The last important change, in chronological order, dates back to the end of 2019 when La Versa returns to being an Oltrepò Pavese asset thanks to the total acquisition of the brand by Terre d'Oltrepò. |
