Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Cirò e Melissa and the wine intelligence study conducted on the wines of the Calab appellation

17 July 2023, Cirò Marina - The Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Cirò e Melissa will present the study conducted by Wine Intelligence to the press on 19 July. The conference will be held at Borgo Saverona (Cirò Marina), starting at 19.00.

The study, financed by the Consortium, together with Città del Vino, the Municipality of Cirò Marina and the Calabria Region, is centered on the analysis of the market and marketing data of Cirò's wines, with particular focus on the national market and on the German market. During the conference, many experts in the sector will intervene, coming from different institutions and organizations. Among the speakers Dr. Raffaele Librandi President of the Consortium for the Protection of DOC Cirò and Melissa Wines , Dr. Pierpaolo Penco Lecturer and wine marketing expert , Dr. Angelo Radica National President of the Città del Vin Association , Dr. Giacomo Giovinazzo General Manager of the Department Agriculture of the Calabria Region , Dr. Sergio Ferrari Mayor of Cirò Marina and Dr. Gianluca Gallo Councilor for Agriculture, Agri-food Resources and Forestry of the Calabria Region .

The final objective of the conference is to transform the data emerging from the study into concrete actions aimed at promoting the identity and quality of the wines of Cirotano at a national and international level. This study also represents the tangible and concrete commitment of the Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Cirò e Melissa to strengthen the image and reputation of the wines of the appellation and of a unique winegrowing area in the world.
