Festa del Ruchè returns on 13 and 14 May in Castagnole Monferrato

On 13 and 14 May 2023 , the Association of Ruchè Producers of Castagnole Monferrato is re-proposing the consolidated appointment that brings together Ruchè and its producers with professionals and enthusiasts at the La Mercantile Estate , a complex dating back to the end of the 17th century, surrounded by the greenery of a splendid Italian garden. The event, which includes tastings of Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG , meetings with producers, bottle sales, food stands and music, is organized in collaboration with Go Wine and the Barbera d'Asti and Monferrato Consortium .

These fundamental ingredients make the Festa del Ruchè the best opportunity to discover - or rediscover - the symbolic wine of this area of Monferrato, the territory and the people. Indeed, the Festa del Ruchè celebrates a denomination that is enjoying growing international success due to its unique characteristics and its territory, proclaimed a "World Heritage Site" by Unesco .

The wineries adhering to the tasting tables will be directly present at the tastings that will take place inside La Mercantile, surrounded by the wonderful frescoes that enrich each room.

Entrance to the Estate will be free, with paid tastings, on Saturdays and Sundays and the Ruchè will not be the only star of the party. To accompany it in a space open to all there will be food stands with local specialties to be enjoyed in accompaniment to the tasting. Furthermore, as per tradition, there will be music and animations in a truly suggestive place. To complete the offer, all the companies can be visited upon reservation. A unique opportunity to discover the heart of the appellation.

- Tasting table (in the indicated shift) in the direct presence of the cellars of the Producers' Association. Free tasting in the splendid rooms of the La Mercantile Estate

- Silk-screened goblet of the Ruchè Producers Association and free pouch.

Free entry to the estate with paid tastings.

The cost of the ticket to taste is € 25.00 (with a 10% reduction of € 22.50 for those who buy the ticket online). Sector Association members (Ais, Fisar, Go Wine, Onav) € 20.00. (NB it will be necessary to present a valid card to collect the glass and pocket).
