Piazza di Siena will be the stage for the twenty-second edition scheduled from 8 to 14 September

During the Press Conference at the Campidoglio, the 2025/2026 program was presented, a calendar of events among the most iconic places of the Eternal City.

Great news emerged during the press conference to present Vinòforum 2025, held at the Protomoteca dei Musei Capitolini in Campidoglio. First of all, that Vinòforum will give life to a Premium Edition on stage from 8 to 14 September , in Piazza di Siena , in the heart of Villa Borghese. In addition to this, the launch of a two-year program of events and activities that strengthen Rome's identity as the Capital of Wine and Food.

“New features that enhance the form, without changing the essence. - says Emiliano De Venuti, CEO of Vinòforum - The choice to position ourselves in September was made taking into consideration the added value that this month can bring to the commercial expansion strategies of the participating companies, right at the time of the harvest, when wine expresses its maximum identity. The highlight of this new season could only be a unique location like Piazza di Siena which will host an unparalleled Premium Edition. Furthermore, the 2025/2026 programming will allow us to strengthen the synergies already created with the institutions, the bodies and all the important players in the area, support Italian wine and food companies and, at the same time, prepare tailor-made content capable of satisfying the needs of operators, trade press and enthusiasts. In addition to business, let's not forget that Vinòforum has always worked to promote responsible consumption of wine, a very timely topic today that the European Union has started an important regulatory process aimed at reducing the harmful consumption of alcohol.”

Massimiliano Raffa , Extraordinary Commissioner of Arsial - Regional Agency for the Development and Innovation of Agriculture in Lazio, also spoke about the growth of Lazio in various aspects: " Lazio, which boasts great labels and an enological heritage of absolute value, is a region where the culture of wine is rooted, dynamic and projected towards the future. Prestigious events such as Vinòforum represent a strategic opportunity for the companies of our territory, allowing them to establish themselves in increasingly competitive markets and to enhance the regional productive identity. Rome, moreover, with its international resonance, is the ideal stage to promote our wine sector, intercepting buyers, operators and a qualified public, which often does not pay the right attention to 'home' wines. As Arsial, we are committed to transforming this opportunity into a driver of concrete growth for our companies, strengthening the presence of Lazio in the major wine circuits. Because behind every bottle there is the story of a territory and ours deserves to be known, appreciated and chosen."

Witnesses of the morning also included Michelangelo Bruno Bossio, Head of Agricultural and Agri-food Promotion Activities ARSAC – Calabria Region , who explained how Vinòforum is an unmissable promotional stage for all those Regions that have an important vocation for wine production, followed by Francesco Guercilena , President of AIS Lazio, partner of Vinòforum and promoter of the training content within the event. And again, Elia Del Pizzo, Head of UNAPROL Projects, Italian Olive Consortium and Alessandro Scorsone, one of the most important Italian sommeliers and historic friend of Vinòforum. A very important audience that saw institutions and professionals of the sector together in a dialogue moderated by Stefano Carboni, food and wine communicator and professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata who also involved some guests of the meeting such as Antonio Spazzafumo, Mayor of San Benedetto del Tronto and Rossella Macchia, President of the Consortium for the Protection of Roma DOC Wines.

The conclusions were entrusted to Sabrina Alfonsi , Councilor for Agriculture, Environment and Waste Cycle of Rome Capital, in this case also special delegate of the Mayor Gualtieri. “Vinòforum, as always, will be an opportunity for our administration to promote meetings and insights on the path of Food and Wine Policies. Rome will be named City of Cheese 2025 in a few days and we will continue to give importance to the project on urban vineyards, which transmit a strong cultural message, which reconnects Rome to its history and the relationships it has had with the rest of the world. Last October we were awarded as the best European public project for the cultural promotion of wine and vines and in May we will inaugurate the first vineyard in the park of San Sisto. Vinòforum for us will be a moment to expand the promotion of all these initiatives.”
