Registrations continue for the 32nd edition of the Mondial des Vins Extrêmes , the only global wine competition reserved for heroic wines and organized by CERVIM – Center for Research, Studies, Safeguarding, Coordination and Enhancement for Mountain Viticulture, which will be held in Sarre (Aosta) on 29 and 30 September 2024. The competition selects the best wines resulting from extreme viticulture with the aim of promoting and safeguarding the production of small wine-growing areas which are characterized by history, tradition and uniqueness, of great environmental and landscape value , where mainly native vines are grown. All wines produced from grapes from vineyards that present at least one of the following permanent structural difficulties will be admitted:
The fourth edition of the Extreme Spirits International Contest will also take place on the same days, dedicated to spirits of wine origin coming from the same heroic areas, with the aim of enhancing the products, the territory and guiding the consumer towards "responsible drinking" and to the choice of these particular high quality spirits.
The participation form must be completed online on the website: www.mondialvinsextremes.com , by Saturday 7 September 2024 . Participating companies must send wine samples by Wednesday 11 September 2024.
The registration fees are as follows: €75.00 VAT 22% for each of the first two wines registered; €65.00 VAT 22% for each wine from the 3rd to the 5th registered, €55.00 VAT 22% for each of the following. Considering that for every 5 wines registered, the 6th is free. Only 2 bottles are required to be sent.
